Description
This course is designed for those with around three years of language learning, and who can understand and use familiar words and simple phrases for real life scenarios. You should be able to introduce yourself or someone else, ask basic questions, and provide answers on home, family and surroundings. This course will develop your knowledge of the language to a high level.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who has approximately three years of French language learning.
This course is the second part of the Conversation tier of learning French.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you should have approximately three years of language learning and can understand and use familiar words and simple phrases for real life scenarios. You will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.
What you will learn
You will recall and use vocabulary and phrases to discuss a range of topics, including holidays, health, and healthy living, using both past and future tenses. You'll recognise verb endings and time expressions in reading and listening, and practise using them in conversation and writing. You'll complete presentations and role-plays, describe health issues and personal requirements, and explain lifestyle changes to maintain good health. These activities will contribute to speaking and listening assessments for qualification credit.

You will learn via practical exercises, presentations, group and pair activities and the completion of workbooks.

A notepad and a pen.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
