Description
Designed for those with at least a year of language learning experience, this course dives into fascinating themes like food and wine, meeting new people, discovering properties, shopping adventures, and tackling everyday challenges. Expand your vocabulary and expressions while enhancing your listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. These interactive sessions will also aid in sharpening your main grammatical points.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is a post-beginner in French with approximately a year of language learning.
This course is the first part of the Elementary tier of learning French.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, this is a post-beginners course and you will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.
What you will learn
You will learn to use the verbs "to do" and "to go" in the present tense, express likes and dislikes, and form questions and negatives. You'll practice the perfect tense and immediate future, and expand sentences with time expressions. Additionally, you will discuss your daily routine, use reflexive verbs, describe your home, buy train tickets, and discuss travel details.
How you will learn
You will learn via practical exercises, presentations, group and pair activities and the completion of workbooks.
What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
