Description
This course is perfect for complete beginners or those with a very basic knowledge of the language. By the end of this course, you will have built foundational skills to communicate confidently in everyday situations such as: How to ask where something is and about amenities around town, you will learn to ask about public transport, find a hotel room and check in at reception.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is a beginner in learning French.
This course is the third part of the beginner tier of learning French
Entry Requirements
You need English and Maths GCSEs or equivalent. If you do not possess these, your English and Maths needs to be of a good standard. You also need to be willing to act in front of other learners.
What you will learn
You will learn to read signs, flyers, and instructions, ask for tickets and information about places of interest, and share holiday experiences. You'll practice shopping vocabulary, including weights, measures, and partitive articles, while role-playing grocery shopping. You will also discuss past and future activities, describe hobbies, weather, and seasons, and use relevant tenses in speaking and writing.
How you will learn
You will learn via practical exercises, presentations, group and pair activities and the completion of workbooks.

A notepad and a pen.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
