Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who has approximately three years of Italian language learning. This course is the first part of the Conversation tier of learning Italian.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you should have approximately three years of language learning and can understand and use familiar words and simple phrases for real life scenarios. You will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.

What you will learn
You will recall and use vocabulary and adjectives to talk about holidays, express preferences, and compare experiences using various tenses. You'll present your holiday experiences, discuss future plans, and explore the pros and cons of holidays at home and abroad. You'll describe places of interest, explain opinions, book reservations, and engage in role-plays. You'll also discuss technology use, justify views, and practise formal writing, quizzes, and discussions.

How you will learn
You will learn via practical exercises, presentations, group and pair activities and the completion of workbooks.

What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.

How you will be assessed
You will be assessed via practical activities, workbooks, group and pair activities and presentations.

You can enrol onto the next stage of the language programme.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
