Description
This FREE and engaging introductory course will prepare you for studying the Level 1 Fashion Qualification. Meet your teacher and fellow learners whilst exploring some of the basic concepts involved in Fashion Design. This course is mandatory for those wishing to enrol onto the Level 1 Fashion Qualification.
Who is this course for?
This Introductory programme is for anyone who is interested in undertaking the Level 1 in Fashion Design Qualification. The purpose of this session is to determine if the Level 1 qualification is right for you at this present time.
Entry Requirements
You need at least a Level 1 qualification In Maths and English. If you do not possess these, your English needs to be of a good standard.
What you will learn
You will learn if the Level 1 Fashion Design course is right for you at this present time. You will also learn the basics of fashion design such as sketching, pattern making and learning about fabrics and textiles.
How you will learn
Learners will gain knowledge via presentations, demonstrations, group discussions, question and answer sessions, the completion of workbooks and practical exercises.
What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.
How you will be assessed
You will be assessed by the completion of workbooks and other formal documents, observation by your tutor and the formal recording of performances.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
