Description
This FREE and engaging introductory course will prepare you for studying the Level 1 Certificate in Acting Qualification. Meet your teacher and fellow learners whilst exploring some of the basic concepts involved in Acting. This course is mandatory for those wishing to enrol onto the Level 1 Certificate in Acting Qualification.
Who is this course for?
This Introductory programme is for anyone who is interested in undertaking the Level 1 in Acting Qualification. The purpose of this session is to determine if the Level 1 qualification is right for you at this present time.
Entry Requirements
You need at least a Level 1 qualification In Maths and English. If you do not possess these, your English needs to be of a good standard.
What you will learn
You will learn the basics of acting, along with learning if the Level 1 course in Acting is right for you at this present time. You will play games and be increasingly in the moment, explore the concept of acting through various exercises, use your imagination in scenes and simple improvisation, learn techniques to relax and ensure clear delivery and projection, investigate scenes for clues about the context and circumstances and use your own life experience to explore characters. Your Maths, English and present knowledge of Acting will also be assessed.
How you will learn
You will learn via practical activities, listening to presentations, completing workbooks and question and answer format.
What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.

If the course is right for you at the present time, you can enrol on the Level 1 in Acting.
What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
