Description

This FREE and engaging introductory course will prepare you for studying the Level 1 Award in Floristry. Meet your teacher and fellow learners whilst exploring some of the basic concepts involved in floristry. This course is mandatory for those wishing to enrol onto the Level 1 Award in Floristry Qualification.  

Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone interested in progressing onto the Level 1 Award in Floristry

Entry Requirements
You need at least a Level 1 qualification In Maths and English. If you do not possess these, your English needs to be of a good standard.

What you will learn
You will learn the basics of Floristry, along with learning if the Level 1 course in Floristry is right for you at this present time. You will be introduced to the principles involved in Floristry such as balance, proportion and colour.

You will learn via practical activities, workbooks, group and pair activities and presentations.

Where next?
If successful, you can enrol onto the Level 1 in Floristry.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
