This course is for anyone who is interested in learning how capture still life.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.
What you will learn
You will start with foundational drawing techniques by practicing simple forms and gradually progressing to more complex subjects, while building core skills in shading, perspective, and composition. The course also helps overcome the fear of the blank page by encouraging a confident, expressive approach that makes drawing an enjoyable and judgment-free process. Along the way, learners will gain advanced insights through professional tips and techniques developed over years of artistic practice, and receive guidance on developing their own personal style through experimentation with different methods and creative approaches.

You will learn via presentations, practical activities, workbooks, group and paired activities and group discussions.

A notepad and a pen.

If successful, you can enrol onto Art and Design Intro.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
