Description
Discover how a simple pencil can transform into detailed and stunning works of art. From mastering shading and texture to capturing intricate details, each class equips you with essential techniques. Build upon your skills learnt throughout the course and culminate in a final project where you will apply everything you have learned in an exploration of your own artistic vision.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is interested in learning how draw with pencils.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.
What you will learn
You will explore a range of pencil drawing techniques, including the use of different graphite grades, application methods such as hatching, blending, and rendering, creating textures, using various erasers, and effectively illustrating light and form to enhance realism in their drawings.
How you will learn
You will learn via presentations, practical activities, workbooks, group and paired activities and group discussions.
What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.

You will be assessed via practical activities and workbooks.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
