Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is interested in learning how to paint landscapes.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.

What you will learn
You will learn the basic history of landscape painting, sketching your environement, Chinese Landscape painting, drawing techniques and tonal range, using perpective, colour mixing, and other such techniques.

How you will learn
You will learn via presentations, practical activities, workbooks, group and paired activities and group discussions.

What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.

How you will be assessed
You will be assessed via practical activities and workbooks.

Where next?
If sucessful, you can enrol onto Art and Design Intro.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
