Description
This FREE and engaging introductory course will prepare you for studying the Level 1 Certificate in Computer Game Design. Meet your teacher and fellow learners whilst exploring some of the basic concepts involved in Computer Game Design.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is interested in undertaking the Level 1 Game Design qualification.
Entry Requirements
You need at least a Level 1 qualification In Maths and English. If you do not possess these, your English needs to be of a good standard. You also need to be able to use a computer effectively and have access to a good standard computer in order to be able to participate online, using the required software.
What you will learn
You will learn if the Level 1 Computer Game Design course is right for you at this present time. You will also learn the basic principles of game design, using the Software Construct 3.
How you will learn
You will learn via practical exercises, presentations, group and pair activities and the completion of workbooks.
What will you need to bring
You will need a good speed computer and fast internet connection.
How you will be assessed
You will be assessed via practical activities, workbooks, group and pair activities, and presentations.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
