Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone interested in undertaking the Level 1 Award in Sugracraft.

Entry Requirements
You need at least a Level 1 qualification In Maths and English. If you do not possess these, your English needs to be of a good standard.

What you will learn
You will learn if the Level 1 Award in Sugarcraft is right for you at this present time. You will learn the basic principles of sugarcraft, including designs, the use colours, layering and the composition of different cake coverings. Please note, in determining if the level 1 course is right for you at this present time, your English and Maths skills will also be assessed.

How you will learn
You will learn via demonstrations activities, handouts and workbooks.

What will you need to bring
A notepad and a pen.

How you will be assessed
You will be assessed through questionnaires, practical activities and workbooks.

Where next?
If the course is right for you at the present time, you can enrol onto the Level 1 Award in Sugarcraft. If not, we can refer you to other developmental courses.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
