Description

Build the confidence and skills needed to succeed in the workplace. This course is designed to help individuals develop essential workplace skills, improve job prospects, and prepare for employment or further training.
Throughout this course, you will:
- Develop Workplace Confidence – Learn essential communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills for a professional environment.
- Improve Job-Seeking Skills – Understand how to write a CV, complete job applications, and prepare for interviews.
- Learn Workplace Expectations – Explore professional behavior, time management, and employer expectations.
- Build Practical Skills – Gain knowledge in handling workplace tasks, following instructions, and working independently.
- Prepare for Career Progression – Identify personal strengths, set career goals, and explore further learning opportunities.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you will need to be able to read and write in English at Entry Level 3 to get the most out of your learning.

How you will learn
You will gain knowledge via presentations, demonstrations, group discussions, question and answer sessions and practical exercises.

What will you need to bring
We will provide handouts and resources for your course. You will need to have pen and paper for additional notes, and you would benefit from having a memory (USB) stick to save your work on.

How you will be assessed
Assessment will be based on a portfolio of evidence that you will compile throughout the course. This portfolio will demonstrate how you meet the assessment criteria for each unit within the qualification. You will gather evidence from activities, practical exercises, and written tasks completed during the course. Your tutor will provide feedback and guidance to help ensure your portfolio meets the required standards and supports your ongoing development.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
