What you will learn
In this 5-week IT for Beginners course, you will acquire essential computer skills to navigate the digital world confidently. You will learn effective internet usage, file and folder management, email communication, and Microsoft Word document creation. Each week you will undertake practical, hands-on exercises to improve your skills and knowledge. By the end of the course, you’ll possess foundational knowledge to perform common computer tasks effortlessly. Join us to boost your digital literacy and stay connected in today’s tech-driven world.

How you will learn
You will gain knowledge via presentations, demonstrations, group discussions, question and answer sessions and practical exercises.

Pen and notebook.

How you will be assessed
Your tutor will provide valuable development feedback throughout the course to ensure that you have a sound understanding and the practicial digital skills to enable you to progress to the next level of learning. There are no end of course exams.

The next progression step would be Essential Digial Skills Entry Level 3.

What we expect from you
You are required to attend every session. The minimum required attendance for this course is 85%. Anything below this attendance will be reviewed by the Curriculum Development Manager and you may be withdrawn from the course and the outstanding course fees will still be payable.
