Important - Choosing the right English Course.
If English is not your first language and you have not already achieved ESOL at Level 1 or above, please enrol onto an ESOL Pre-Course Interview instead of an English Functional Skills Pre-Course Interview.
This will ensure we can assess your needs correctly and place you on the most suitable course.
Functional Skills Qualification in English at Level 1 and 2 are for learners to develop understanding and skills in English. The qualifications give learners the opportunity to gain a qualification for work, study and life, demonstrate the ability at an appropriate level to read, write, speak, listen and communicate in English, and apply these skills effectively to a range of purposes in the workplace and in other real life situations. Tailor your learning journey by attending a pre-course interview to assess your current proficiency and select the starting level that best suits your needs.
