Description
This course teaches learners how to elevate video projects through effective sound design. Students explore ambience, music and sound effects while learning how to choose appropriate audio assets, time sounds to picture, stack layers, and mix using essential EQ, compression and level?balancing tools.
Through guided demonstrations and structured practice, learners discover how SFX influence pacing, how ambience creates mood, and how music shapes tone and energy. They apply timing techniques such as snapping sounds to markers or beats and synchronising “whooshes” and “pops” to animation moments.
Mixing modules teach use of the Essential Sound Panel, EQ curves, limiters, and safe export levels. Students practise balancing dialogue, lowering harsh effects, and enhancing ambience for cleaner, professional audio.
Learning culminates in a polished sound?designed sequence exported using correct settings.
