Description
This course covers the full workflow of creating professional interview videos. Students explore interview purposes, messaging, audience focus and question design before learning how to prepare an interviewee, choose backdrops, and select props that enhance rather than distract.
Filming modules teach camera framing, eye?line positioning, tripod setup, angles, lighting (key/fill/back), and exposure settings—supported by practice scenes where students adjust shadows, colour temperature and brightness.
Audio guidance includes mic types (lavalier, shotgun), clean vocal capture, avoiding distortion, and running sound checks. Learners practise syncing audio using slates or claps, capturing room tone, and maintaining clear dialogue amidst background noise.
Editing covers interview structure, trimming pauses, adding lower thirds, colour correction, using B?roll, refining pacing, balancing audio, adding subtle background music and exporting in proper formats.
