Description
This engaging and practical course introduces adult learners to the 10 pillars of wellbeing—a holistic framework that supports mental, emotional, and physical health. These pillars include: emotional health, physical activity, nutrition, social connections, sleep, financial wellbeing, purpose and meaning, mindfulness, work-life balance, and self-esteem. Together, they offer a comprehensive view of what it means to thrive in everyday life. Learners will reflect on these areas and identify three pillars most relevant to their current life situation. Through guided exercises, they'll develop SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals aligned with those pillars, and learn techniques for tracking and reviewing progress. Using real-life case studies, learners will explore how wellbeing directly impacts their ability to succeed in education, work, and personal development. This course also lays a valuable foundation for further learning in Health and Social Care, and brings practical benefits such as improved time management, enhanced communication, better planning, and increased psychological resilience.
